We are delighted to announce that the sixth edition of the chamber music masterclass Arcadia Chamber Music Classes will take place this year between August 1-12, 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The masterclass is for chamber ensembles that include at least one string instrument: string ensembles, string and piano ensembles, or string and wind ensembles.
ACMC offers an intensive masterclasses for string chamber ensembles, concerts featuring the Arcadia Quartet, special guests, and participants, along with activities designed to support artistic and professional development (workshops on managing stage fright and emotions, interpersonal relationships in a chamber ensemble, public speaking, crafting an artistic CV), a professional photo shoot, Alexander Technique, open rehearsals, lecture, in-house luthier.

The Arcadia Chamber Music Classes aims to encourage, guide and promote young musicians in their professional development, through the art of chamber music:
• to deepen and expand their knowledge related to the repertoire, but to also discover new interpretations, visions;
• to improve as an ensemble by sharpening and sensitising their distributive attention and by assimilating the music;
• to offer them the concert, stage experience, which has a very important role in their artistic development, emphasising constructive emotion management through chamber music workshops held by the members of the Acadia Quartet.
