Programme
The programme for each category is as follows:
1st category: Aria Antica
One song (lied) by a chosen composer
2nd category: Aria Antica
Two songs (lied) by a chosen composer
3rd category: Aria Antica
Two songs (lied) by a chosen composer
One opera or oratorio aria
4th category: Aria Antica
One oratorio aria
Two songs (lied) by a chosen composer
One opera aria
5th category:
1st round – two chosen opera arias
2nd round – two chosen opera arias
6th category: Vocal Ensembles*
a) Opera ensembles
- free choice program lasting min. 8 and max. 20 minutes
b) Chamber music ensembles
free choice program lasting min. 8 and max. 20 minutes
* in this category you can apply music program ORIGINALLY written in the form of a duet, terzet or a larger vocal ensembles with piano and / or other instrumental accompaniment
7th category: Musica
a) 3 songs from the musicals of free choice (with piano accompaniment obligatory)
b) duets or ensembles from the musicals (with piano accompaniment obligatory) – free choice programme lasting min. 8 and max. 20 minutes
The programme should be performed from memory and in the original language. The performing order will be determined by drawing ordinal numbers soon after the entry deadline.
In the 5th category, the final result will be obtained by adding the points achieved in both rounds of the competition. The first round is not an elimination round.
Awards:
Points will be awarded by an international jury.
1st prize and a diploma will be awarded to the participants who accumulate 90 to 100 points.
2nd prize and a diploma will be awarded to the participants who accumulate 80 to 89 points.
3th prize and a diploma will be awarded to the participants who accumulate 70 to 79 points.
A certificate of participation and a diploma will be awarded to the participants who accumulate 60 to 69 points.
The International jury will also choose the laureate of the competition who will be awarded a money prize.
The Jury may award one or more special prizes.

The deadline for applications is April 7, 2019

- the application f orm (with one photograph)
- a copy of the birth certificate (or an extract
from the registry office)
- proof that the entry fee of 300 kunas (40
EUR) has been paid

Purpose of payment:
Kotizacija za natjecanje „Lav Mirski“
Those participants who do not have their own accompanist will have at their disposal an official
accompanist of the competition.
The fee of 300 kunas (40 EUR) includes two rehearsals and the competition performance.
Accommodation and travel costs are paid by the participants themselves.
Prizes and diplomas will be awarded at the final concert.
The programme of the concert is set up by the jury.
