I am pleased to announce the opening of applications for the new Intercontinental Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Orchestral membership is open to any instrumentalist between the ages of 15 and
24 years, and chorus membership is open to any singer from 12 to 60 years.
Auditions in each location across the globe will take place on Saturday 17th October 2009.
The orchestra will come together for the first time for its Summer School in Stavropol in the Russian Federation for three weeks commencing on 9th July 2010. This will be followed immediately by the orchestra?s inaugural tour through 12 countries in Europe, starting in Moscow with its world premier concert, and concluding in Yerevan, Armenia.
