Note about organization of auditions for festival “Nei suoni dei luoghi” – edition 2019
According to the Protocol of intents between your Academy and Associazione Progetto Musica, we plan to hold auditions in your Academies (see the schedule below) for selecting the students that will participate in the edition 2019 of international music festival “Nei suoni dei luoghi”.
As we have already agreed in the past, we ask you to select in advance a certain number of students that will participate in auditions.
The students that will be selected in the auditions by Maestro Enrico Bronzi will possibly perform not only in festival “Nei suoni dei luoghi” but also in music festival of Portogruaro, in festival “Carniarmonie”, in Mittelfest and in the concerts organized by Accademia di studi pianistici “Antonio Ricci” in Udine (these festivals constitute together a sort of music network in the area of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto).
The participants in auditions have to fill an application form (see the attached form) with their personal data, an artistic biography, 1-2 good pictures, at high resolution (at least 2 megabytes) and appropriate to be printed in advertising materials (booklets, brochures, etc.), a copy of identity document or passport and their repertoire, that will include the concert/concerts program.
The schedule of auditions is the follow:
We ask you to organize in your Academy auditions from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10.
Moreover, we request to preselect ensembles (composed by 2 to 5 musicians) and soloists.
For the 2019 edition of the International Music Festival “In the sounds of the places”, the main theme will be the music connected with dance. Preference will be given to the students who for both the auditions and the concert will present a program that includes dances, dance suites or music derived from the ballet repertoire.
Every audition must last not more than 15 minutes and must include at least two different compositions.
Considering the increasing number of Academies and Conservatories participating in the protocol of intents referred to in the introduction, starting this year the students will be selected on the basis of the overall level of the auditions and not the one found in the single academy and conservatory.
